A New Apple Watch App Lets Brides Track Wedding Gifts on Their Wrists

Calling all tech-obsessed to-be-betrothed! Zola, a hip wedding registry service that aims to bring the registry out of the fine china cabinet, has just announced plans for the wedding industry's first ever Apple Watch app.

According to Zola, the app is an extension of their commitment to "re-inventing the wedding registry to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s always-connected couple." As it turns out, about 61% of consumers used smartphones in 2014 to actively plan their wedding (up from 33% in 2011), so there's no doubt in our minds the tech wave is upon us!

Users will be able to track and manage wedding gifts directly from their wrist from virtually anywhere in the world, and special features include gift notifications, a comprehensive gift tracker, a shipment and delivery manager to control when and how you receive gifts, and a nifty wedding date countdown (as if you'd ever lose track!).

Would you try a wedding registry app like this one? Share your thoughts in the comments!
