Confession: More often than not the contents of my fridge look completely unappealing, to say the least. I could even go as far as to say that it quite possibly looks as though I’ve just returned from holidays—every single day. I’ll attempt to blame the contents of my fridge, or lack thereof rather, down to the fact that I live solo and spend many of my weeknights either satisfying my P.M. appetite with canapes at work functions or supporting the locals pub’s $10 steak night with friends—worthy excuses, right?

So, when I stumbled upon this Sporteluxe story which details what nutritionist Jacqueline Alwill, founder and director of wholefoods catering company Brown Paper Bag, always has stocked in her fridge and her simple food philosophy, I was instantly inspired to change my day-to-day shopping ways.
