Inside Parachute's Stunning New Hotel With Major Cali-Cool Vibes

Sacha Strebe

If you've ever curled up in Parachute's ridiculously cosy linen sheets or wrapped yourself in its bathroom line, then you'll be just as thrilled we were when we heard the Venice-based home brand was launching its own hotel. Designed by Scott Horne and Peter Dolkas (a MyDomaine favourite), the hotel concept evokes that irresistible Cali-cool vibe with custom home furnishings, locally sourced amenities, and inspired art throughout. And the best part; It's completely shoppable.

But the true beauty of the Parachute Hotel lies in its elevated accessibility. Comfort was incredibly important to Parachute founder and CEO Ariel Kaye, who wanted the company's hotel guests to felt right at home. "I value the comfort of my home and prefer a smaller, more curated place to stay while travelling, and I see this trend emerging among today’s travellers," she told MyDomaine. Ahead, Kaye explains her creative process, the design challenges, and inspiration behind the new hotel that opens today.
