5 New York Lofts With Envy-Inducing Style
Owning a loft in New York City is high on our real estate bucket list. An open plan, plenty of room to entertain, an industrial feel, and a sense of history—all of these things make for a beautiful decorating landscape. The time may not come anytime soon—or ever—for us, but it pays to dream, so make your imaginary bids below.
Fashion designer Phillip Lim enlisted the help of architect Joe Nix to renovate his SoHo loft, and the result is a gorgeous, light-filled space with custom-made furniture by design master Tyler Hays's New York studio, BDDW; stunning works of art by Richard Serra and Cy Twombly; and precious memorabilia. The Corinthian columns and those expansive blue windows have us swooning, but the Yves Klein coffee table is what seals the deal.
