Would You Live in a Muji Flat-Pack House?

Lauren Powell

Japanese design house, Muji, has casually extended its offering of homewares, stationary and clothing with houses. Yes, you read correctly—houses. The minimalist expert has introduced a series of new flat-pack houses to its range and they are true to its quintessentially effortless, minimal style.

There's three adorable designs to choose from, starting at $150,000 USD for the ‘Wooden House’, $160,000 USD for the ‘Window House’, and $215,000 USD for the tall, Tokyo-inspired ‘Vertical House’.

For now, the economical homes are only available in Japan, but with concept stores recently opened in Sydney and Melbourne we’re hoping they’ll land on our shores soon.

We’re into anything that makes owning your own home more affordable and achievable. Well done, Muji.
