We all wish we could be a little more productive. So, what's the secret to increasing daily productivity? It's as simple as harnessing the power of mornings when our mind is most focused and clear. Alas, not all of us are morning people, and sometimes we make the wrong decisions that threaten to derail our energy and ability to get work done. Be active in the morning.
Moving your body for even 10 minutes in the morning releases neurotransmitters that make you feel calm and in control. Exercising first thing in the morning actually improves your energy levels all day long.
Drink some cosy lemon water.
Skip the coffee and reach for some hot water with lemon instead. It's a natural source of of energy; just make sure to drink it on an empty stomach to ensure full absorption.
Lay off the tech.
Nothing throws our precious reserve of morning concentration for a loop like a sudden barrage of emails, texts, and notifications right as we first open our eyes. Instead, try to exercise or meditate, and save the tech for after you've had breakfast.
Eat a real breakfast.
Speaking of breakfast, make sure you eat one! According to Entrepreneur, "a healthy breakfast gives you energy, improves your short-term memory, and helps you to concentrate more intensely and for longer periods."
Setting out your goals for the day helps narrow your sights on the finish line, as well as acknowledge all of the steps you'll need to take to get there. Be intentional right from the start of your day, and you'll be off on the right foot.

Before you dive headfirst into the wild frontier of your inbox, tackle a demanding task that requires a bit of extra brain power. If you start your day with something you don’t want to do, you may find that you get it done faster than if you leave it for the end of the day.
