Seeing just even the covers of our favourite childhood books instantly ignites a sense of nostalgia through us. Whether it’s a vivid memory of flicking through the character-filled pages of Possum Magic in your cubby house or feeling like an actual grown-up reading The Magic Faraway Tree on the school bus, the memorable fictional stories of our favourite childhood tomes have left a life-long impression on every single one of us.

And to prove it, leading book retailer, Dymocks, has just released its annual list of the Top 51 Favourite Children's Books, as voted for by Australian public and 26,500 book lovers to be exact.
