Inside an Australian Home With Insane Attention to Detail

Sacha Strebe

We love how us Aussies style a home—think laid-back yet sophisticated, with an irresistible international flavour thanks to our unique global positioning. This stylish abode in the hip Toorak neighbourhood of Melbourne showcases this sleek style with a timeless appeal. Robson Rak Architects was tapped to strip the 1983 Georgian-style home of its '80s styling replacing it with new amenities in a minimalistic palette.

The attention to detail is evident from the renovation to the decorating; no interior stone was left unturned. The neutral colours are complemented by moody touches of deep forest green, black, and charcoal grey. The marble dining table is definitely our favourite piece in the house—what a showstopper. But wait until you see the home office… #goals.
