Met Gala Glamour: Charles James-Inspired D
Tonight's the night! The Metropolitan Museum of Art opens its latest Costume Institute exhibition, Charles James: Beyond Fashion, which celebrates the legendary 20th-century Anglo-American couturier Charles James. The exhibition will explore his design techniques, process, and innovations. But, we simply can't wait to see what the stars wear down the red carpet (or staircase shall we say)! We're guessing, from James's famous use of silks and satins, the scene will be akin to Cecil Beaton's famous 1948 Vogue photograph (above). To pay homage to the great designer, we've rounded up the best and most luxurious items to add into your décor. Go ahead: add some Met Gala glamour into your every day.
