This 2006 Throwback Photo of Meghan Markle Proves She's Basically Ageless
Meghan Markle may be the newly minted Duchess of Sussex, but back in 2006, the Los Angeles native was just a fresh-faced actress starting out her career in Hollywood. As Who What Wear Australia brought to our attention, Markle was photographed at one of her very first celebrity events 12 years ago, a full five years before she landed the role of Rachel Zane on Suits. Alongside a then 22-year-old Mandy Moore, 24-year-old Markle attended the Coach Legacy Photo Exhibit in East Hampton, New York. See the hilarious throwback photos below.
Upon viewing these photos, we're struck by two things: One, her outfit, which includes the ever-trendy naked shoes favoured by Kate Middleton, Anna Wintour, and Rihanna; and two, that she basically looked exactly the same at age 24 as she does now at age 36. Countless past interviews have alerted us to the fact that Markle is super health-conscious, working out four days a week and sticking to a healthy diet, but genetics and skincare likely play a role in her perceived agelessness. As our sister site Byrdie Australia reports, Markle swears by Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder, Talika Eye Therapy Patches, Lumity Anti-Ageing Facial Oil, Nivea Skin Firming Hydration Body Lotion, and this totally free jaw-defining anti-ageing treatment. We're sorted.
