This Clip of Leonardo DiCaprio Is the Best Thing We've Seen All Day
We fell in love at first sight the moment we saw Leonardo DiCaprio in Romeo + Juliet and then again in Titanic (or was it Growing Pains?). And our love has only grown deeper since he dazzled us in the '90s over and over again as the ultimate handsome and tragic hero. Though we thought he couldn't get any more inspiring, PopSugar Australia resurfaced this 2016 exchange between DiCaprio and Pope Francis for the actor's documentary Before the Flood to remind us that beyond his on-screen charm and range of talent, DeCaprio is also a thoughtful activist with a knack for speaking Italian.
In the critically acclaimed film Before the Flood, DiCaprio assembles a cast of scientists and leaders (U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Barack Obama, to name a few) to investigate the global threat of climate change and also to present potential solutions. We highly recommend renting it on Amazon if you haven't seen yet.
But in the meantime, you can catch a glimpse into DiCaprio's process and visit at the Vatican. Since there's nothing more swoon-worthy than an environmentalist who doubles as a Hollywood heartthrob and also happens to charm the Pope in Italian—literally a Romance language—you'll inevitably watch it on a loop. We'll say ciao for now so you can enjoy the view from behind the scenes in the video below.
