Khloé Kardashian Swears By This "Super Vitamin" to Metabolise Fats
There's no shortage of vitamins and supplements that are marketed as essential for good health, but when it comes to which products you actually need, experts are often divided. While Khloé Kardashian is certainly no health expert, the star takes her personal well-being seriously, and she has tried her fair share of products and pills. In a new article on Kardashian's eponymous subscription-based website, she reveals the three vitamins that she swears by.
"I looove vitamins! Yes, it can be annoying to take a ton of pills every day, but it is so worth it," the star says. "I swear, I see such a difference in my health." These are the three vitamins she takes every day and the benefits she's noticed.
Kardashian describes biotin as her "super vitamin," which has a long list of benefits. "Biotin, also called vitamin H, is probably best known for improving the health of hair, nails and skin—but it's more complex than that," she writes on her website. "It also helps the body metabolize fats and carbohydrates, and can even lower cholesterol."
So this is how the Kardashian's maintain such great skin. "Collagen is exactly what you need to maintain your skin's elasticity and firmness," she says. "But it's not just a beauty vitamin. Collagen also improves circulation, and bone and joint health."
Taking iron is a must for Kardashian, given her diet. "I don't eat any red meat, so a daily supplement is so necessary to my health. Iron transports oxygen throughout the body, so if you're not getting enough, the biggest side effect is exhaustion," she says.
