Jenni Kayne and Nathan Turner Throw a Gorgeous Easter Brunch
When three major tastemakers throw a party in the California sunshine, you RSVP. So naturally, we jumped at the chance to join celebrated fashion designer Jenni Kayne, interior designer and Million Dollar Decorators star Nathan Turner, and our very own food contributor Claire Thomas for a recent Easter brunch. Read on to learn how to recreate this gorgeous spring celebration for your own friends and family.Overall, the feeling was relaxed and casual, yet decadent. Naturally, Turner took the reins on the décor, creating a fresh and welcoming atmosphere -- the perfect representation of spring. Under a romantic pair of olive trees, Turner framed the dining table with a set of gorgeous blue 19th-century dining chairs, which he found and reupholstered in France. For a mix of rusticity and femininity, he set the table with tinware dinnerware from Kayne's Montecito store, paired with Kayne's mismatched antique flatware and Victorian glasses. Fabric-wrapped eggs made a subtle nod to the holiday, without being too kitschy.
