In what can be described as brilliant news for interior lovers, stylist and MyDomaine Australia contributor Jason Grant has just launched his debut homewares collection and it's everything we dreamt it would be—and more. Described as Bondi-meets-Byron Bay with a hint of Palm Springs, Grant’s new limited edition collection, aptly titled MJG by Mr Jason Grant, is a nod to his quintessential relaxed and casual style. "I have longed dreamed of creating my very own collection for the home, it feels like a natural progression,” says Grant. We spoke exclusively to Grant to who revealed his inspiration for the collection, the product he loves most, and his number one (and foolproof) styling tip. Read on to learn everything you need to know about the coolest new homewares collection in town.

What inspired you to create a homewares collection?

As a stylist, I have worked for a long time styling other people products so it’s been my ultimate dream to create my own collection that reflects my happy and casual style.

How would you describe the collection in three words?

Just like my decorating style—easy and fun with a pop of colour.

What is your favourite item from the collection?

It’s hard to choose just one but I do love the retro mesh side tables—they are inspired by my holiday poolside adventures from Byron Bay to Palm Springs.

How do you see the collection evolving in the future?

The collection will be a constant evolution as we want to keep things fresh and exciting—we have lots more to come!

What is your number one styling tip?

I have learnt to decorate with what you love—surround yourself with things that tell a story and mean something not just "stuff". Once you find your own confidence the rest will come.
