Step Inside Ina Garten's $6 Million New York City Apartment

The Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten and husband Jeffrey Garten are branching out from their East Hampton roots. The culinary couple recently purchased a $4.65 million USD Upper East Side apartment, taking it off the hands of former Travel + Leisure editor in chief Nancy Novograd and her husband, John. Perched on the corner of Park Avenue and 62nd Street, the two-bedroom, three-bathroom pre-war residence features high ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a cosy corner library.
As to be expected, the impeccable apartment features a newly renovated chef's kitchen that's "perfect for an enthusiastic cook," according to the Stribling listing brokers Cornelia Zagat Eland and Mark Reynolds Blumenfeld. The two also make a note of the apartment's prime Manhattan location, just blocks away from stores like Barney's and Bergdorf Goodman, in addition to critically acclaimed restaurants like Bibloquet, Fred's, and Daniel (not that the two will be dining out much).
