Sneak Peek: IKEA's New Collection Is a Nomad's Best Friend
IKEA's latest PS collection, a series of high-quality design that's also practical and affordable, is here, and it speaks to one of the brand's biggest constituents: "young-in-mind urban people living in the moment." On the Move, as it's named, was designed by 14 young designers for those with limited space and a tendency to pack up and go: students, recent grads, city dwellers, etc. Including stackable trays that can be used as a side table, open wire closets, small colourful secretary desks, storage blocks, a leaning wall shelf/coat rack, a cabinet that fits into a corner, and a side table with a built-in magazine rack and lamp, the collection is full of small-footprint, multi-purpose items that can be re-envisioned in each new space where an on-the-go person signs a lease (or squats). There's plenty for more stable home decorators to shop, too. Head to IKEA's Pinterest board to browse the full collection, and look for it in stores and online this April.
