Step Inside Giuliana Rancic's Rustic Idaho Vacation Home
An Idaho lodge is not exactly what comes to mind when you think of Giuliana Rancic. But as her recent Architectural Digest home tour can attest, the E! News host is every bit the rustic, midwestern homeowner—Canadian tuxedo included.
As a part of the magazine's November issue, it takes readers inside the Rancic family's 4900-square-foot Idaho vacation home in Gozzer Ranch, which is conveniently perched on the side of Lake Coeur d’Alene (which National Geographic named as one of the top five lakes in the world).
The couple purchased the home back in August of 2016 and completely gut renovated it from the ground up. Interior designer Lonni Paul sat at the helm of the project, in addition to designing the couples' homes in Brentwood, California, and Chicago.
"The house was not our style and had these tiny windows so that you couldn't see the amazing view," Bill Rancic told the magazine. "We completely changed everything." With Paul's guidance, they knocked out the back wall to create an indoor-outdoor feel, gut renovated the kitchen, and decorated according to Giuliana's love of rustic minimalism.
"I wanted to have that cabin feel," she explained, "but we wanted to keep it really clean, beautiful, and simple." Step inside the Rancic family's Idaho vacation home below.
