How to Make a Cocktail Bar-Worthy Espresso Martini at Home

Let’s be honest, the best reward after a long and busy week at the office is a carefully curated cocktail. And sure, a Mojito, Margarita, or a Whisky Sour could put a cherry on top our week, but when we really want to treat ourselves we can’t go past the holy grail of cocktails—an Espresso Martini.

The bitterness of the coffee, the sweetness of the syrup, and the crispness of the vodka is an ingredient match made in Friday night heaven. Don’t want to face the post-work bar crowds? No problem. This cocktail bar-worthy recipe will allow you to sip the sophisticated cocktail from the comfort of your very own sofa. Read on and count down the hours until cocktail hour, at-home style.

Espresso Martini

Serves 1


30ml freshly brewed Vittoria Coffee, chilled

45ml vodka

15ml coffee liqueur

15ml sugar syrup (mix togegther one part sugar to two parts water

Cubed ice

Coffee beans to serve


1. Combine coffee, vodka, coffee liqueur, sugar syrup, and cubed ice in a cocktail shaker.

2. Shake well and pour into a chilled martini glasses.

3. Add two coffee beans as a garnish.
