You Won't Want to Leave Melbourne's Most Stylish New Boutique

When visiting ELK’s retail boutique in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, you could be forgiven for thinking you had been transported to the streets of Paris. The charming building, of which the brand’s first ever flagship store calls home, boasts a heritage façade complete with intricate rendered detailing and a curved glass shop front while French door terraces adorned with potted hedges live above—dreamy.  “Once we saw the incredible original features, like the curved glass, we know it was the space for us,” says ELK’s creative director, Marnie Goding.

Inside, you can thank award-winning interior design, Fiona Lynch, who created a space that is just as delightful as its exterior. While representing ELK’s simple, quality aesthetic, it is home to innovative interior design features, considered finishes, and complete functionality. “We really wanted to create a space that was progressive in a design sense, but remained warm and respectful to the ELK brand heritage,” explains Lynch. “Despite it being a small space, there was a lot of detail to consider.” Our favourite features? The supple leather upholstered accessories cabinetry and the subtle hints of gold and bronze detailing throughout. Let just say that we’d happily live here in a heartbeat. Scroll down and take the tour.

If you can't make it into experience the dreamy store at 182 Little Collins Street, shop the ELK collection online.
