Apertiki, Anyone? Here's Where to Get This Summer's Trending Cocktail
As the calendar moves towards summer, there's nothing we look forward to more each week than Friday drinks. And when we're seeking out a spot to take in the sunset with a cocktail or two, we can't go past a rooftop bar.
Enter, East Village, a local Sydney establishment that has just transformed its iconic terrace into a Tiki-style pop-up bar for the warmer months. Offering decadent eats and tropical-inspired beverages, just think of the fun you could have while basking in the sun!
As you make your way to the rooftop, you will be greeted by lush palms, neon-lights, and of course an impressive food and drinks menu. Take your pick between a Banana Colada, an Apertiki (a spin on the classic Aperol spritz and a team favourite of ours), or the Jungle Boogie, and munch on delicious tapas-style bites, with menu items like Escabeche grilled snapper and jerk chicken bao being just a few creations by head chef, Richard Pattenden.
If you were thinking of jetsetting this summer to an overseas tropical destination, we may have just found you a cheaper way to get those tropical vibes flowing, zero passports required.
Noʻu ka hauʻoli (you’re welcome).
