You Can Now Tweet-a-Pizza With Emoji, Thanks to Domino's

Dana Covit

Is this our lucky day, or what? Or maybe it's just the beginning of a very dangerous habit, indeed.

Domino's Pizza has announced that beginning on May 20, they will roll out a "tweet-to-order" system for domestic customers. But it's how we'll place the order that's giving us the most pleasure: Turns out, you'll be able to place the order by simply tweeting a single pizza emoji.

Here's how it will work: Customers create online Pizza Profiles, save their preferred pies and variations, add their Twitter handle to the new "Easy Order" tab, then simply pizza-emoji away @Domainos (users with a tendency to send rows and rows of emoji, beware). Domino's will then Direct Message customers back in order to confirm the order.

Bravo, Domino's tech and social media teams, bra-vo.

Are you as excited as we are? Tell us in the comments.
