13 Celebrities Who Are Over Social Media

Katie Sweeney

Earlier this week, I read an article about Kate Winslet in which she shared that her children are not allowed to use social media. "It has a huge impact on young women's self-esteem, because all they ever do is design themselves for people to like them. And what comes along with that? Eating disorders. And that makes my blood boil. And is the reason we don't have any social media in our house,” Winslet told The Sunday Times. I find it refreshing to hear a celebrity candidly discuss their dislike of social media, so when I came across a Harper’s Bazaar  headline that shared 13 celebrities who think social media is toxic, I couldn’t help but click. In the story, Morgan Baila rounds up a series of quotes that share a similar sentiment to what Winslet had to say. See which celebrities are over social media below, and head to Harper’s Bazaar  to read exactly what they don’t like about Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
