Inside a Jewellery Designer's Understated Brooklyn Home
Brooklyn-based jewellery designer Rony Vardi, the woman behind Catbird, gave Vogue a peek inside her charming family townhouse, and we couldn't be more in love with the eclectic, minimalist abode. After falling in love with the structure, Vardi and her husband worked with Bangia Agostinho Architecture to bring the 1905 brownstone into the 21st century. The bright, airy space is decorated with a seemingly effortless array of antique furniture, flea market art, and well-worn vintage rugs. Vardi's home motto echoes the ever-evolving playfulness of her jewellery line. "It's not like you build it and just move in and everything comes right together," she tells Vogue. "It's just like the business: It's a process, and it's a work in progress, which I love." Scroll through to tour this one-of-a-kind home.
