“Get on a bike and go design exploring—Bali is full of the most incredible artisans you’ll ever meet. This is basically how we started our label, we found little tailors and leather craftsman who would let us sit with them in their workshops and design leather bags and boots or garments with them. We’d bring drawings, or old fabric we’d hoarded and get them to make our dream bag/boot/dress. We met a man in Ubud who hand carved 100 bone feather earrings for us, he literally just sat there in his shop with his knife, listening to music and carved away!”— Isabella.
“We love the Saya Gallery in Seminyak for homewares, and love to visit Aussie labels in Bali, like Mister Zimi and Goddess of Babylon.”— Elizabeth.
