Step Inside a Stunning Home Makeover With Bermudan Architecture and Beachy Vibes

The beachside town of Alys Beach in the U.S. boasts white sand beaches and equally bright, crisp white homes with a distinct flavour of architecture—from Mediterranean to Moroccan influences—sure to inspire wanderlust. Among the luxurious buildings of the Floridian escape is a stunning beach house featuring Bermudan architecture, built in 2016 and designed by Eric Watson. The airy 3,145 square foot home offers a spacious open floor plan connected to a sprawling courtyard and showcases four bedrooms, four and a half baths, and a bunk room for the little ones. Chelsea Robinson of Chelsea Robinson Interiors worked closely with the owners to transform the space into a dreamy second home for their growing family.

"My directive for this beach home was for my client to feel completely transported and instantly placed in a state of tranquility," says Robinson. "The interior provides a feeling of complete understated elegance." Natural unfinished woods and coastal elements are abundant throughout the light-drenched home. "All of the many uses of different textures, elements from nature, and the mix of modern and Old World throughout the entire home accomplish this goal of a peaceful, understated elegant retreat," she explains.
