IN HIS OWN WORDS: "Call me crazy, but I drove three hours north for a daytrip to Jalama Beach. It was overcast with a slight coastal mist, but the saline spray was invigorating--like California's own Cornwall. A small creek divides the line between the campground and jagged beaches, and there's a picturesque train bridge. The clouds broke for a moment, warm diffused light hit the landscape, and I snapped this photo."
