Thom Filicia has just completed the lobby of the Grace Bay Club, a renowned beachfront resort in Turks and Caicos, giving us a sneak peek of what's to come for the entire property. "As a designer, I'm always looking for ways to bring things together, so I was thrilled when Grace Bay Resorts asked me to lead their redesign." says Filicia. "Turks and Caicos Islands are so vibrant and full of life. I was immediately inspired by all the vivid colours and textures at play, and the result is a brilliant, sophisticated design concept that truly embodies the spirit of Grace Bay." Along with the vacation destinations, Filicia is set to design three private homes on the property. With everything from the finishes to furniture custom-designed, the four-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot beachfront homes are priced at $4 million and are scheduled for completion this summer. Filicia is indeed creating a heavenly escape for any vacationer -- and especially a design-minded one.
