If you were to identify the two most crucial points in your day, they'd probably be first thing in the morning and right before you go to bed. Both moments are instrumental in setting the tone for the forthcoming day and also play a role in shaping your mental and physical health. Which is why when Business Insider Australia recounted the nightly routines of some of the world's most successful people, we were admittedly intrigued. Below, read up on what Ariana Huffington, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Oprah Winfrey do right before going to bed:
Ariana Huffington takes a hot bath. The brain behind the Huffington Post Media Group reportedly gets seven to nine hours of sleep each night. Before heading to bed, she turns off all of her electronics, takes a hot bath, and reads a book.
Gwyneth Paltrow gets a massage. The actress and founder of Goop told Hello Magazine that she fasts from 8 p.m. until breakfast the next day. She recommends a foot or head massage to relieve stress before heading to bed.
Oprah Winfrey meditates. The actress, businesswoman, and talk show host is known for her dedication to meditation. Unsurprisingly, this mental exercise makes an appearance in her nightly routine—it's the last thing she does before going to bed.
