This Waterfront Residence in Sydney’s North Will Transport You to the Hamptons

Lauren Powell

When you step inside this nautical-inspired waterfront home on Sydney’s north shore, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d been transported to a cottage in The Hamptons. The oak timber and sandstone structure, crisp white fabrics, blue and white accents, and the charming rope detailing throughout, could have something to do with it.

Designed by interior design firm Woods and Warner, the inspiration behind this Seaforth residence was Nantucket-meets-Hampton—dreamy.

Our favourite feature? Besides the flawless styling and the postcard-like view, the glass sunroom complete with a wish list-worthy butterfly chair on top of a sheepskin throw and a telescope, has to be one of the best places to admire one of the most impressive views in town.

We think this home would in fit in seamlessly with the dreamiest Hamptons home we’ve ever seen and the 10 most swoon-worthy homes in the Long Island village. Scroll on the take a tour through this classic and cosy home.
