First Thing: Renee Bargh Reveals Her Motivating Morning Routine

She’s one our most successful Aussie expats making her mark in Hollywood, she spends her days charming the world’s biggest stars, and her renowned healthy lifestyle is one to aspire to. But how does the co-host of Extra TV stay motivated and driven day-after-day? We spoke to the LA-based Byron Bay beauty to find out how she spends her mornings and prepares for the day ahead. Read on to find out Bargh’s sunrise secrets.

6:20am: If I’ve had an early night, my alarm goes off at 6:20am and I check emails quickly to see if anything has changed for my schedule in the morning.

6:45am: I throw on my yoga gear, grab a banana, hop in the car, and head to an hour or 85 minute yoga class.

8:00am: After my zen session I'll run home to shower and make a glowing green smoothie in my Vitamix and maybe eat some oats as well. “My smoothie contains; banana, almond milk, dates, almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, vegan protein powder, blueberries, kale, spinach and ice,” Bargh told POPSUGAR Australia.

8:45am: After I shower and change, I head into the office.

9:00am: On the drive to work I like to listen to podcasts. Currently I'm into the new season of Serial. It makes the drive go that much faster and I feel like I'm doing something productive with my time. Otherwise, I'm singing at the top of my lungs to Justin Bieber—shamelessly.

9:30am: I'm in hair and makeup and this is when I normally respond to emails and texts, look at my booking sheets for the day, and do some research on my interviews.

10:30am: My hair and makeup is done and I head to the voice-over booth to record pieces for my interviews that are airing on the show that day.
