Phoebe Dahl Hosts a Perfectly Eclectic Garden Party

Lauren Powell

As the granddaughter of Roald Dahl, only one of the most imaginative writers in the twentieth century, you’d expect nothing but a magic at a soirée hosted by Phoebe Dahl.

The founder of sustainable and charitable clothing line Faircloth Supply, and her fiancé, Ruby Rose, welcomed eight of their friends into Dahl's childhood home—the oldest home in the Hancock Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles—where Dahl and Rose first met.

Their talented cast of friends including jewellery designer Lizzie Dulien, model Ruby Corley and actress Kate Moennig, joined the duo for an afternoon of food festivities. Dahl served lobster potpies, grilled corn and a watermelon, olive, feta, and red onion salad underneath an exquisite hanging floral arrangement in the home’s enchanting garden.

Scroll down to take the tour through photos by Roger Davis for Elle.
