This is What Celebrities Eat at the Oscars
While we love the Oscars for the memorable fashion moments and the enviable beauty looks, here at MyDomaine we’re currently obsessing over the menu for the 89th Academy Awards—because it’s by far the most impressive one we’ve ever seen.
Austrian-born American celebrity chef and restaurateur, Wolfgang Puck, has catered the Governors Ball (the Oscars' official after-party) for 23 years now, so it’s safe to say he is a seasoned pro when it comes to feeding A-Listers on Hollywood’s night of nights.
While the three-page menu may seem a little excessive, there is a valid reason for it. “When guests come out of the ceremony, they did not eat for eight to 10 hours, or the whole day some of them,” Puck told The Telegraph. "They might have had an espresso, a cup of tea in the morning. That was it. So they are all really hungry."
The prestigious ball's 1500 guests will devour a 50-dish menu that includes mini burgers, homemade pretzels, baked potato with caviar, gold dusted truffled popcorn, and caramel cappuccino Oscar lollipops—forget the red carpet, we’d be heading straight to the dining room.
