Rent Leonardo DiCaprio’s Stylish Palm Springs Getaway

Katie Sweeney

Planning a trip to Palm Springs and trying to figure out where to stay? Might we recommend the Dinah Shore house, a midcentury modern gem currently owned by actor Leonardo DiCaprio? The ranch-style estate, that was built in 1964 for the actress Dinah Shore by architect Donald Wexler, has six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The house is located in the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood and has glass walls that look out on the San Jacinto Mountains. According to Architectural Digest, “the single-story home offers expansive rooms ideal for entertaining, including a sunken living room that has a fireplace, grand piano, and cocktail bar; a formal dining room; a kitchen with a breakfast bar; and an office/media room.” The master suite has a spacious spa-like bathroom with two saunas and there’s also a pool, guesthouse, and tennis court. The residence is available to rent for vacations and events, at $4,500 USD/night, so if you want to throw an over the top Mad Men-inspired 35th birthday party, this might just be the ideal venue!  Step inside the rental below and let us know: would you stay at DiCaprio's desert oasis?
