When exploring the globe, we love nothing more than an insider travel recommendation—we want to know where to eat, shop, drink, stay and what to see and do from someone who has done it all before and then again. Lucky for us, one of our favourite It-girls and E! Channel host, Ksenija Lukich is quite the jetsetter. The well-travelled local beauty and L.A. regular shared with POPSUGAR Australia her go-to L.A. hotspots and just like that we’re ready to book the next red-eye. Read on and add these recommended haunts to your black book for the next time you’re in La-La Land.

"I love shopping on Melrose. There are plenty of beautiful boutiques and Melrose Place has my favourite coffee shop in L.A. It's called Alfred's and coming from an Aussie, it's probably one of the best!"

"My favourite restaurant is this incredible vegan Mexican restaurant called Gracias Madre. It has fabulous cocktails and a really cool vibe. I'm not a vegan, and honestly it was one of my favourite meals of my trip!"

"A few of my favourite haunts include Soho House, Eveleigh, No Vacancy and Davey Wayne's. All have a really fun atmosphere where you can have a few drinks and enjoy your surroundings."

"My favourite neighbourhood has to be Venice Beach; it has a really fun quirky vibe that you won't find anywhere else. Street performers and artists litter the streets; it's the ultimate people-watching location."

"On my most recent trip to L.A. I finally hiked Runyon Canyon. It's the perfect place to take your dogs for an early morning walk. If you get there early enough you can also do a free yoga class on the grass. Be prepared for stunning views and sore legs!"
