This Interior Designer to the Stars Has Just Launched a Home Collection
Ever since Greg Natale began designing his iconic, elegant and bold interiors around the country over 15 years ago, we’ve been avid fans of his uniquely refined style. We added every single item from his furniture collection (which he launched earlier this year) to the top of our wish-list and this newly renovated Hunter Valley hotel Natale is responsible for, is one of our all-time favourite interiors.
And to our sheer delight, the celebrity interior designer has just launch his very first home décor collection—Greg Natale Home. The luxury range of bed linen, bath towels, cushions, and towels, represent everything the talented designer is known for—colour, pattern, and tailored layering.
Scroll on to learn about Natale’s inspiration for the range and find out which product he loves most.
MyDomaine Australia: What was your inspiration behind the collection?
Greg Natale: The range is really an exploration of my love for pattern. It’s no secret that I love to use prints in my interior design work and the natural extension of that is to develop my own range of soft homewares to add that extra layer. For many years I have enjoyed designing wallpapers and rugs and tiles for my projects (all available to purchase), but that finishing touch was missing in the bedroom and living areas. I always had to custom make cushions up using patterns and prints I was drawn to.
MD: What’s your favourite item in the collection?
GN: I love malachite. It’s such a cool, organic and sinuous pattern. Taking the green out of it and reimagining it in inky blues was a dream. To round out the story we reworked two of my cushion designs Oxford and Palm Springs in the same ink blue. I think it’s such an elegant collection.
MD: What’s next for the Greg Natale Home collection?
GN: Keep an eye out for more cushions, rugs, and new furniture in 2017. We’re looking at new colour drops for some of the existing patterns and the bedding and homewares range has some very exciting new developments in the pipeline. We’re also having some fun talks in the U.S. at the moment so watch this space!
