Tour an Inspiring Event Space We'd Move Right Into

1Last week, we celebrated the launch of online resale marketplace Hunters Alley alongside Los Angeles tastemakers and style-setters like Kathryn Ireland, Ross Cassidy, Whitney Port, Jaime King, and Joe Lucas at LA event venue The Unique Space. We love a good fete, but this bash was much more cocktails and apps: the brand hired design studio Crafting Community to create an immersive space that felt like home.

Creative Director Karen Kimmel and the Hunters Alley team designed room plan vignettes of a kitchen, living room, library, and boudoir that were "playfully stage-y and straightforwardly faux," as she puts its, within the space, making the event "feel like a cross between a boutique, a dollhouse, and your coolest friend's apartment." To showcase Hunters Alley's wonderful collection of pre-owned, vintage, and handmade products, the brand source more than 1,000 vintage and artisan pieces of décor and lifestyle items and allowed partygoers to "hunt" for a piece of their own, recreating the experience of shopping the website in a physical space. 5 From the metal bar cart decked with vintage glasses to the layered artwork on the bookshelves to the indigo pillows on the midcentury sofa, the space was full of pieces we covet for our own digs. It's too bad the event was one night only because we were pretty dead-set on moving right in. In the meantime, we're determined to install of mural of Palm Springs in the office. 4
