15 Lovely Libraries in Unexpected Places
If the feeling we have for a well-stocked library can be classified as love, than an unexpected library might just make us keel over. Turning a corner, opening a secret door, or catching a reflection in the mirror of a library is one of the most pleasant surprises one can have in a home. Whether it be above a doorway, in a bathroom, in an archway, above a bathtub, or making up a headboard, you never know where you are going to find one. Get the look in your own home by placing a bookcase in a secret spot, where no guest will think to find it. Perhaps a narrow bookcase fits in the nook between your sink and stove, the cranny behind your headboard, or the transept above your door. Wherever you place it, style it well, and be prepared to go weak at the knees every time you see it.
