Catherine Deneuve's French Ch
Want to live in castle in wine country? Who wouldn't? Well, we know person who doesn't: French actress and style icon Catherine Deneuve, famed for her roles in films Indochine, Le Dernier Métro, and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, has listed her 18th-century-inspired château in the Loire Valley, Château de Primard, for close to $5.5 million. With gorgeous grounds designed by renowned international landscape architect Jacques Wirtz, the property looks like something straight out of French cinema (as it should). It features a kitchen, dining room, library, two sitting rooms, seven bedrooms, two guest suites, four bathrooms, and a converted attic with a "relaxation room" and home cinema -- as well as a caretaker's house and numerous outbuildings. Sounds like la vie en rose to us. Head over to Sotheby's International Realty to see more of the exterior and to Habitually Chic to see interior images.
