Bassike’s Sydney HQ Is a Minimalist’s Dream
Cult Australian fashion label bassike is not just a staple in every fashion girl’s wardrobe, it's a globally recognised brand renowned for high-end design, quality construction, and a commitment to sustainable manufacturing. Turns out, the company's new head office is no exception.
The purpose built space located on Sydney’s northern beaches was envisaged by bassike co-founders, Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan in collaboration with Kelvin Ho from Akin Creative, and is a nod to the label’s focus on comfortable luxury and minimalist design. The sun-drenched space boasts clean lines, subtle neutral hues, and natural textures which are the key ingredients for the duo’s vision of creating “a zen space bathed in light that would be conducive to creativity and a sense of calm.”
Since launching a collection of organic cotton jersey back in 2006, the brand has gone from strength to strength with the introduction of denim and seasonal mainline collections and has since launched into the US market—and this dreamy new space it now calls home illustrates its impressive decade of evolution. Scroll on and take a tour through this beautiful work space that we like to call office goals.
