As soon as we had word that two of our favourite creative houses—Aquabumps and Blacklist—were joining forces on a special project, we couldn’t wait to see the result. Landscape and surf photographer Eugene Tan from Aquabumps has teamed up with design house Blacklist to produce a stunning limited-edition print—and not only are we dreaming of those long summer days, but we think we’re in love.

The collaboration sees Tan’s iconic aerial Bondi Beach photography and Blacklist’s famed typography merge to create an original print that is a perfect reflection of both artists' styles and is a must-have addition for every beach-lover’s home.

"I have been a big fan of Aquabumps and followed Eug’s photos for years, so this was a bit of a dream in the pipeline, and something that I always wanted to do,” says Nathan Johnson at Blacklist. “We both work across different audiences in a way, so we were excited to push that boundary—I knew that one of his photos and my type would work so well together and it would be quite a natural collaboration of ideas.”

The hand-numbered, limited-edition print of 300 units only (tip: get in quick!) will be released online the end of June on both Blacklist and Aquabumps sites, and pricing starts at $179.95 unframed.
