The New Perth Hotel Designed to Feel Like Home

Stylish, vibrant and cool is the only way to describe Perth’s latest boutique hotel, The Alex. Centrally located in Perth’s Northbridge, it’s now the hottest place in town to sleep, eat and drink thanks to innovative Sydney interior design firm, Arent & Pyke.

The renowned interior design team collaborated with the owners to create the overarching concept of a hotel that feels like a home and to bring the space alive with a personality. “With the client, there was always a discussion about ‘Alex’ being someone familiar to us all; an uncle whose home you love to visit, a treasured old friend with a house full of wonderment,” says Arent & Pyke.

Housed within a new six-storey building by award-winning architect Michael Patroni, the 74-bedroom hotel brimming with personality and charm is complete with a spectacular rooftop deck, an honour-based kitchen concept and private meeting rooms. Scroll down to take a tour through the hotel.
